• To make a call from the contact list, tap
you want to call, and tap Call.
• To make a call using speed dial, press and hold the speed dial number
assigned to the contact. For instructions on how to assign a speed dial
number, see "Assigning a speed dial number to a contact" on page 97.
• To make a call using a recently dialed phone number, tap
and tap a recently dialed number in the list.
• To make a call from an e-mail or text message that contains a hyperlink
phone number, tap the phone number in the message, and tap Call.
To make a call from the Home screen, enter the number using the keyboard,

Answering or ignoring a call

When you ignore a call, your service provider may send the caller to your
voicemail.
To silence the ringer, press the volume key on the side of the device.

Making a conference call

You can create a phone session between yourself and two or more other
parties.
Conference calls are available only on the cellular network.
