Security

Like any device connected to a network today, your phone can be
vulnerable to attacks by malicious individuals or software. However, you can
keep your phone safe by observing certain simple security practices.

Security recommendations

• Turn off Bluetooth when you do not need it.
• Set the Bluetooth device in non-discoverable mode.
• Use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) or other secure connection when-
ever possible.
• Use WPA2 for Wi-Fi Protected Access.
• Use virus protection software.
• Do not install software from unknown sources.
• Disable the 4-digit PIN password option and use a strong password for
the phone.
