5. When the Auto Setup has finished, tap Next.
6. If your device was not able to detect your e-mail settings, you need to
enter them manually. Contact your Internet service provider or cellular
service provider to get the information for the following:
a In the Your e-mail provider drop-down menu, select your e-mail
provider, and then tap Next.
b If you selected Custom domain, enter the name of your e-mail
provider domain (for example, live.com or hotmail.com), and then
tap Next.
c Enter your name and the account display name, and then tap Next.
d In the Incoming mail server field, enter your incoming mail server
name. In the Account type drop-down menu, select your account
type (POP3 or IMAP4), and then tap Next.
e Enter your user name and password, and then tap Next.
f In the Outgoing (SMTP) mail server field, enter your outgoing mail
server name, and then tap Next.
If your e-mail server requires authentication, select the
NOTE
Outgoing server requires authentication
check box.
7. Select how often to synchronize your e-mail, and then tap Finish.
The device starts to download your messages.
