Cell comments: Comments are not shown. When a workbook is saved
on the device, all cell comments are removed.
Cell patterns: Patterns applied to cells are removed.
Fonts and font sizes: Fonts not supported by the device are mapped to
the closest font available. When a workbook that has been edited in Excel
Mobile is opened on a computer, the data is in its original font.
Number formats: Numbers formatted using the Microsoft Excel 97
conditional formatting feature are displayed in Number format.
Formulas and functions: Formulas that contain references past row
16384 are replaced with #REF!. The following formulas are also
converted to values: formulas longer than 512 bytes, formulas that
contain functions not supported by Excel Mobile, formulas entered as an
array or that contain an array argument, and formulas that include
external link references or an intersection range reference.
Protection settings: If a password to open has been set for a workbook,
it cannot be opened in Excel Mobile. If a password to modify has been
set for a workbook, it can be opened in Excel Mobile but cannot be modi-
fied.
Zoom settings: Excel Mobile does not retain zoom settings. Zoom
setting is applied to the entire workbook.
Worksheet names: In a worksheet cell, names that refer to worksheets
within the same workbook are shown. Names referring to other work-
books, arrays such as ={1;2;3;4}, array formulas, or intersection ranges
from the name list are removed. If a name is removed from the list, it is
left in formulas and functions, causing those formulas to be resolved as
