2. In the Assign a program box, select the application or action you want

Adjusting the scrolling speed

1. Tap > Settings > Personal > Buttons, and select the Up/Down
Control tab.
2. To change the time that elapses before scrolling begins, move the Delay
before first repeat slider.
3. To change the time it takes to scroll between items, move the Repeat
rate slider.
4. Press .

Locking and unlocking the device

To prevent accidental input you can lock and unlock the touch screen and
keyboard by pressing the screen key on the left side of the device.
You can lock your device, with or without password. When the device is
locked you can still receive phone calls and text messages.
You can always make calls to the local emergency services phone
NOTE
number (for example, 911), even when your device is locked with a pass-
word.
