2. Model Name Display: FELCOM-500

When the power is turned on, display will be made according to the information
obtained from the connected Antenna. In the case of FB-1500, "FELCOM500" will be
displayed, and in the case of FB-1250, "FELCOM250" will be displayed.
Note that the software is the same for the Communication unit, the Handsets, and the
Incoming indicator .

3. Signal Strength Display

The Signal strength for the demodulation output is displayed.
The Signal strength is displayed in a manner easy to understand for the users by having
the "Signal strength" values converted into bar display in Main -> Status monitor.
For example, if the "Signal strength" is 63.0 dB/Hz, 5 bars will be displayed. The bar
display will be refreshed every 30 seconds, and the "Signal strength" value in the status
monitor will be refreshed every 5 seconds.

4. Self Vessel Position/Date/Time Display

The obtained information is displayed.
The time data is obtained via ZDA > RMC sentence. Additionally, the time data is used
for the time stamp in the log.
The position data is obtained via GNS > GGA > RMC > GLL sentence.
The priority between the Internal and External GPS is Internal GPS > External GPS,
and they are switched automatically. From the Internal GPS, the ZDA, RMC, and GGA
data is output.

By following Settings -> Basic settings -> GPS, you can make the settings for the
Baud rate of the External GPS and also monitor the GPS data.
Reference) Time display upon the Handset
The time displayed in the Handset is the time obtained from the time data in the NTP
(Network Time Protocol) server build in the Communication unit.
The time data for the Handset will be obtained when the Handset is activated.
You can specify the NTP server via; Settings -> 1. Basic -> 3. Clock.
As for the settings, enter the IP address for the Communication unit: 192.168.1.1.
