[1] Replacing the Tray Up/down Motor

(Old type only)
Caution:
Make sure that the power cord of the main
body is unplugged from the power outlet.
Caution:
When removing the tray up/down motor, be
sure to hold the main tray to prevent it from
falling.

Procedure
(1) Remove the rear cover.
(2) Remove the connector (CN106). Remove two
mounting screws while holding the main tray, and
then detach the tray up/down motor (M703).

(3) Reinstall the above parts following the removal
steps in reverse.

Caution:
Make sure that the power cord of the main
body is unplugged from the power outlet.

Caution:
When removing the tray up/down motor
(for old type) / up/down motor unit (for new
type), be sure to hold the main tray to pre-
vent it from falling.
CAUTION1: The wire replacing procedure
described below is of the rear side.
For the front side, the design as
well as the winding direction of the
wire is symmetrical.
CAUTION2: "F" is impressed on the front side
surface of the wire bracket. Also
"R" is impressed on the rear side
surface.
Be sure of the direction when
installing.

Procedure (In the case of the old type)

(1) Remove the following parts:
• Side cover
• Front door
• Rear cover
• Tray up/down motor (M703)
• Main tray
(2) Remove five mounting screws. Remove the up/
down gear cover and the gear.
