Manual Valve Test

This feature enables you to easily test the controller installation for
existing valve connections and valve condition status.
Note: The Valve Test feature cannot be used while any station is
operating, either automatically or manually.
1.
Within the Help menu, turn the Upper Line knob to view the
following display:
VALVES
2.
Turn the Lower Line knob right one stop to view the following
display:
01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08
–– –– –– –– –– –– –– ––

To start the Valve Test, press the COPY button.
4.
Turn the Lower Line knob right one stop to move to the next
set of valves, as in the following display (example):
09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16
sh ok ok ok ok ok NC NC
The lower line displays the current status of each station as
follows:
ok - Valve connected and functioning properly.
sh - Short circuit - load exceeds maximum amperage allowed.
NC - Not connected - No valve connection detected.
Note: If two consecutive stations are indicating a short-circuit
condition, the cause may by due to two exposed valve wires
making contact at the terminal block connection screws.
5.
Repeat step 4 as needed to for remaining stations.
