Connecting the Power Source

WARNING: All electrical components and installation practices must
meet applicable national and local electrical codes including installation
by qualified personnel. These codes may require an external junction box
mounted on the cabinet and circuit breaker in the mains wiring having a
contact separation of at least 0.120" in the line and neutral poles.
The 120 VAC power source must be OFF prior to connecting power wires
to the controller.The wire used for connection to the controller must have
an insulation rating of 221°F minimum.
1. Remove two screws securing the hinged inner cabinet panel and
swing panel open to access the transformer compartment.
2. For input power connection,
install

the base of the controller cabi-
net from the 120 VAC power
source.
3. Confirm that power has been
disconnected at the source by
using a volt meter or voltage
detector.
4. Route 14-AWG insulated,
solid copper wires for Power
(Black), Neutral (White) and
equipment ground (Green)
source through the conduit
into the controller.
5. Strip back insulation
Black to Line (L) and Green to Ground
6. Close and secure the inner cabinet panel and control module.
7. Apply power to the controller.
