Dialling Method

The Minoltafax offers four different dialling methods. Place the document
face down in the feeder and dial using the desired procedure.
4.2.1

Manual Dial Using the Numeric Keypad

Enter the telephone number using the
numeric keypad and press [START]. The
display shows the number for confirmation.
To delete the number press [STOP] or
correct individual digits using the arrow
keys. You can enter up to 40 digits for a
telephone number.
4.2.2

Automatic Dialling using the One-Touch Keys

Press one of the programmed one-touch
keys [01]-[16] and press [START]. The
number appears in the display and the
machine begins to dial automatically after
the document has been scanned.
Both described methods can be performed by using the [HOOK] key.
Press [HOOK] and enter the telephone number or press one of the
programmed one-touch keys [01]-[12]. You will hear the dialing process
from the internal loudspeaker, however you must press [START] when the
receiving station answers.
