Silence Time

If the fax machine does not receive any signal in the TAD mode within the
set time, it switches back to receiving mode.
Description
1 Press [FUNCTION] + [#].
2 Press [ENTER] + [3].
3 Press [ENTER].
4 Press the corresponding key
[1] for NO, [2] for 3 seconds, (silence
time) [3] for 6 seconds, [4] for 9 seconds.
Press [ENTER].

Ring Counter

Here you set the ring counter, the fax machine waits before it answers an
incoming call.
Description
1 Press [FUNCTION] + [#].
2 Press [ENTER] + [4].
3 Press [ENTER] 2 times and enter the
number of rings (0-9). Then press
[ENTER].

The number of rings set for the ring counter must be higher than the
number of rings before the answering machine answers a call.
