Troubleshooting

If there are any problems with your fax machine, please read the following
instructions carefully. If none of the indications and the suggested
solutions solve the problem, please contact the technical service.
Never try to disassemble or repair the machine yourself. You may
increase the damage and run the risk of electric shocks.
Problem
No message in the display.
No receiving copy printed.
The machine is turned on but
does not answer any calls.
The automatic document feeder
does not work.
The received printout shows
black stripes.

Solution
Make sure the power plug is connected
properly. Check if the power switch is
on.
Check if the power socket is working by
connecting another device.
Make a photocopy to see whether your
machine is working properly. Make sure
the paper cassette is correctly filled.
Check whether the machine is in
automatic answer mode, whether the
paper cassette is empty and / or the
memory is full.
Check the size of the document and
whether it was placed properly in the
feeder.
Make a photocopy with your fax
machine. If the copy is clear the problem
is probably with the other station.
