Delay Transmission (Timer)

This function serves to transmit documents at a programmed time, for
example to a receiver in a different time zone, or to use a cheaper
telephone line at a given time.
The timer function is only available if the date and time of the machine
have been set.
Description
Place the document face down in the document feeder.
If necessary, adjust the resolution and the contrast.
Press either [FUNCTION] or [2] and press [ENTER].
1
Enter the desired transmission time
using the numeric keys (24 hours format)
and press [ENTER].
2 Enter the telephone number and press
[START].
3 After you have pressed [START] the
document is scanned.
4 The Minoltafax assigns a three digit
identification number to the process.
With this number the process can be
identified later on, e.g. for deleting.
If the machine runs out of memory during the scanning, the machine
switches to standby mode. In this case program the process again at a
later time when there is more memory capacity.
