3 Entering Data

Before all features of your Minoltafax are available you need to make
some settings. This chapter explains how to set your name, your line type
and the partner station with which you wish to comunicate.
3.1

Preparing the Fax Machine

Press [MODE] to select the operation mode. Select [FAX], if you want to
use your fax in automatic answer mode. The settings for the other
operations are described in the chapter R
3.2

Typing Conventions in this Manual

If nothing else is requested, all keys are to be pressed one after the other
when entering data. This is also the case if they are connected by a "+" to
facilitate the layout. "Press 0 + 5 + ENTER " means: Press the
numeric key 0 , then the numeric key 5 and then the key named
Enter .
