Paper jam or document jam
indicated in the display.
No sound can be heard in the
telephone set.
Communication error.
The printed image is slanted.
The copy quality is poor.
Pages are wrinkled or there are
frequent paper jams and double
feedings.
The alarm lamp is on and the
display indicates "Check Paper".
Although the paper is filled the
display indicates "Check Paper".
The display indicates: "Change
Cartridge".

Follow the procedures given earlier in
this chapter, if the problem is not solved
call the technical service.
Use the telephone alone in the plug. If
the telephone works, call the technical
service.
Most of these problems are caused by
bad line quality. Please try to contact the
other station again. If the error occurs
repeatedly, call the technical service.
Readjust the paper guides in the paper
cassette.
If the copy has black stains, clean the
scanner surface. If the print is weak or
blurred, remove the image cartridge and
shake it.
Check the paper size and type. Make
sure the paper is not rippled or creased.
Load paper and press [START].
Make sure the paper cassette is filled
correctly.
Replace the image cartridge.
