Replacing Assemblies

To remove and replace the PCI or display board

PCI cable

1 Perform previous procedures:
• "To prepare the instrument for disassembly"
page 120.
• "To remove and replace the cover"
Disconnect the cable from the board you are replacing.

Using a Torx T10 screwdriver, remove the screws securing

the board to the rear panel.
4 Lift the board out of the socket to remove.
Display cable
To replace a board:

Ensure that the tab on the board's rear panel is
a
aligned with the slot in the deck.
b Press the board securely into the socket on the
motherboard.
Replace the screw.
