Line Commands

This chapter explains the following commands:

exec-timeout

Authentication commands related to line configuration mode are in
Commands.
exec-timeout
Use the exec-timeout command in Line Configuration mode to set the
interval that the system waits for user input before timeout. The exec-
timeout command is also used by the web for timing out web sessions. To
restore the default setting, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
minutes
exec-timeout
no exec-timeout
minutes — Integer that specifies the number of minutes. (Range:
0–65535)
seconds — Additional time intervals in seconds. (Range: 0–59)
Default Configuration
The default configuration is 10 minutes.
