Configuring IP Storage
port per VSAN. It simplifies the task of configuring the pWWN for each new initiator on the storage
array, and Fibre Channel access control such as zoning. This feature along with static target importing
(using LUN mapping) results in the configuration being performed only on the switch when a new iSCSI
host is added. On the storage array, all LUNs that will be used by iSCSI initiators are configured to allow
access by the proxy initiator's pWWN. From the iSCSI perspective, this configuration is no different
from the default mode.
