Reinstalling the T640 Rear Fan Tray

After the T640 chassis is installed in the rack, you reinstall the removed components
before booting and configuring the router. The following procedures describe how to
reinstall components in the chassis, first in the rear and then in the front:

To reinstall the rear fan tray (see Figure 61 on page 109):
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to an approved site ESD grounding point. See the instructions for your site.
Grasp the fan tray by its handles and insert it straight into the chassis.

Tighten the captive screws on the top and bottom of the fan tray faceplate to secure
