Establishing the Path to the Directory
Providing Public Access
Setting Server Access

From the Web Manager home page, click Enterprise Web Server
servername > Content Management > Additional Document Directories.

In the URL Prefix field, enter a key word (for example text) to represent
the path to the virtual directory.

In the Map to Directory field, specify the path to your documents in the
following format:
servername\volume:\directory\subdirectory
To provide public access to the virtual directory in eDirectory mode and restart
the server:

From the Web Manager home page, click Enterprise Web Server
servername > Server Preferences > Restrict Access.

Click Insert File and enter the path (or any portion of the path you want
to be public) using the following syntax:
servername\volume:\directory\subdirectory

Click OK > Save Changes.

To effect the changes, click On/Off under Server Preferences to restart the
server.
To give the file server that is running the Enterprise Web Server access to the
directory structure of the server where the index file resides, the Enterprise
Web Server file server must be configured as a trustee of that directory. Use
ConsoleOne
to set the rights.
