Requirements for Managing Novell Web Services
Web Browser Requirements
To manage any NetWare Web Service, you need a Web browser, such as
Netscape Navigator or Navigator Gold 3.0 or later, Netscape Communicator,
Internet Explorer or any other browser that supports Java* and JavaScript*.
You must enable Java or JavaScript in your Web browser because all of the
configuration forms in Web Manager and other management tools require one
or both of these forms of Java to function.
To enable Java in Internet Explorer 4 or later:

From the Internet Explorer browser window, click Tools > Internet
Options.

Select the Advanced tab.

Under Microsoft VM, check JIT Compiler for Virtual Machine Enabled
(Requires Restart).

Click OK.
To enable Java in Netscape Navigator:

From the browser window, click Options > Network Preferences.

Select the Language tab and make sure Java and JavaScript are checked.

Click OK.
To enable Java in Netscape Communicator:

From the Communicator browser window, click Edit > Preferences.

Select the Advanced category in the left column.

Check the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript check boxes.

Click OK.
