140 Novell DNS/DHCP Management Utility Administration Guide
To manually release and renew a DHCP-assigned IP address in Windows NT,
complete the following steps:

Select Start > Programs > MS-DOS Command Prompt.

From the DOS prompt, execute the command
ipconfig /release
A message is displayed indicating that the assigned IP address has been
successfully released.

From the DOS prompt, execute the command
ipconfig /renew
A message is displayed indicating the new IP address that has been
assigned.
To review DHCP settings,

From the DOS prompt, execute the following command to review DHCP
settings:
inconfig /all
