Reading from a read-pro-
hibit parameter.
Set values are not stored
in EEPROM.
*1 When using the Light Load mode, always edit the inverter parameters from CX-Drive.
The CompoNet Communications Unit cannot be used in the High Frequency mode and the PM Motor mode.
*2 When the data was uploaded from an inverter, the value of the parameter Write to EEPROM is read as 0.
When downloading the parameter data next time, be sure to set the parameter value again.
Precautions for Correct Use
Precautions for Correct Use
• To write the parameter data downloaded from the [Parameter Dialog] (in CX-Integrator) to
the inverter's EEPROM, set the parameter Write to EEPROM to 1 or 2.
• When uploading parameters from an inverter in the [Parameter Dialog] (in CX-Integrator),
the value of the parameter Write to EEPROM is read as 0. When downloading the parame-
ter data next time, be sure to set Write to EEPROM again.
• When downloading inverter parameters from the [Parameter Dialog], check that the Remote
I/O setting parameter P046 (Assembly Instance No.) is set correctly. If a different parameter
setting is transferred, the number of words occupied by the CompoNet Communications
Unit will be changed, which affects the network configuration.
• When using the inverter in the Light Load mode, always edit the inverter parameters from
CX-Drive.
• In the High Frequency mode and the PM Motor mode, the CompoNet Communications Unit
cannot be used.
3 - 26
When using the Light Load mode, some parameters are write-prohibited or
read-only.
Therefore, in the Light Load mode, you cannot use the functions provided in the
[Parameter Dialog].
Always use CX-Drive to edit the inverter parameters.
In order to download parameters in the [Parameter Dialog], you need to set the last
parameter Write to EEPROM to a correct value.
0: Recalculate motor parameters (Data not saved to EEPROM).
1: Store set values (Data saved to EEPROM).
2: Recalculate motor parameters and stores set values (Data saved to EEPROM).
