Precautions for Correct Use Precautions for Correct Use
• In any of the following situations, for safety reasons, turn OFF the inverter RUN command
from the host program.
When the system power supply is OFF, an error occurs, or the Reset command is input to
the inverter.
• If the inverter fails to move to the RUN state, once turn OFF the RUN command and input
the command again.
• With a third-party Master, the IDLE (communication not ready) message may persist after
establishment of communications. In such a case, wait until the IDLE message disappears
and, after communications are started normally, secure a sufficient wait time so that the
CompoNet Communications Unit can recognize the RUN command OFF state.
• CompoNet Communications Unit may not recognize the RUN command OFF state if nor-
mal communications are blocked due to noise or other problems since establishment of
communications. In this case, take measures against noise for the entire network.
