Measuring pressure in fuel return circuit
1)
Open the engine hood and remove fuel
pressure pickup plug (2) from the fuel
return block.

Install nipple [3] of hydraulic tester G1 and
nipple [1] and connect them to hydraulic
tester G3.

Run the engine at low idle and measure
the pressure in the fuel return circuit.
a If the pressure in the fuel return circuit
is in the following range, it is normal.

If the engine cannot be started, you
may measure the fuel pressure
while rotating the engine with the
starting motor. Do not rotate for
more than 20 seconds continu-
ously, however, for protection of
the starting motor.

After finishing measurement, remove the
measuring tools and return the removed
parts.
