When there is abnormally high pressure.
When pressure (PR) of the self pressure
q
reducing valve becomes abnormally high, ball
(10) pushes against the force of spring (9),
separates from the seat, and allows hydraulic
oil to flow from output port (PR) o (T), so pres-
sure (PR) goes down. This action protects the
equipment at the destination for the hydraulic
pressure supply (PPC valve, electromagnetic
valve, etc.) from abnormally high pressure.
