Function
Turning knob (1) rotates the shaft of potentiom-
q
eter (5).
The rotation of the shaft changes the resis-
q
tance of the variable resistor in potentiometer
(5), sending any throttle signal to the engine
controller.
The hatched area in the right graph is the
q
abnormality detection area. When the throttle
voltage is within this area, the engine is run-
ning at low idle.
