In the configuration with up to 24 HDD/SSD modules, PCIe SSDs can
be installed in the extension box, see
– Up to four PCIe SSDs can be installed, if one PCIe SSD backplane
and one Retimer controller is installed.
– Up to eight PCIe SSDs can be installed, if two PCIe SSD backplanes
and two Retimer controllers are installed.
