2. Inside the controller, attach the leads of a voltmeter across resis-
tor R204 on the electric valve interface board.
3. Press (
ACC CTRL
4. Press the number key that corresponds with the new motor. This
opens the valve.
5. Press the corresponding number key again to close the valve; the
motor will continue to apply torque to the valve for approxi-
mately 30 seconds.
6. On the electric valve assembly CBA, adjust the corresponding
potentiometer to the voltage printed on the side of the motor
(refer to Figure 9-20).
This procedure must be done during the 30 seconds that the motor
is applying torque and the valve is in its closed position. The valve
may have to be opened and closed more than once to complete this
procedure.
