Be sure to run the remove slot slot-number subslot subslot-number command before

removing a HIM while the router is operating.
If you have run this command but do not want to remove the HIM, you can use the undo

remove slot command to cancel the operation.
It is unnecessary to run the undo remove slot command after you remove a HIM and insert it

again.
Follow these steps to remove a HIM:
Step1 Face the front panel of the router.
Step2 Locate the HIM to be removed.
Step3 Loosen the two captive screws on the HIM counterclockwise with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Step4 Pull the two ejector levers at both ends of the HIM outward to release the HIM, and then pull
the HIM out along the slide rails.
