For example, the ALM LED is on when the CPU is overheated. The system gives the following
message:

CPU temperature critical in Slot 3, index is 1.
Solution
Check the displayed information (such as system temperature and PCB voltage alarms) given
on the serial terminal and the software management tool.
If cause cannot be located and the problem persists, record the above information and contact
your local sales agent.

Troubleshooting FIP

Symptom
The RUN LED is off, which indicates the router is powered off or the FIP is faulty.
Solution
Check that:
The router is powered on.
The FIP is properly inserted into an FIP slot.
If the FIP is faulty, the following prompt will be displayed after you enter the display version
command:
Slot3:
The Board is present, state is unknown
If the cause cannot be located in the steps above and the problem persists, contact your local
sales agent.

Off
No power is provided or the RPE-X1 is faulty.
Slow blinking (1 Hz)
The router is working normally.
The application is being loaded (in this case, never power off the
Fast blinking (8 Hz)
device or hot-swap the RPE-X1; otherwise the RPE-X1 may be
damaged) or the RPE-X1 is not working.
Off
The RPE-X1 is in the standby state.
On
The RPE-X1 is in the active state.
Off
The system works normally without any alarm.
On
The system is faulty. You need to view the system log.
Fast blinking (8 Hz)
The system is seriously faulty. An immediate action is needed.
