Replacing the S8510 server Back up data To back up the data on the S8510 Server: 1. Connect your laptop to the server’s service port using the crossover cable. 2. At a browser on your laptop log in to the Maintenance Web Pages (192.11.13.6).
Wait for the message indicating that the backup was successful. Power down the server Shutdown the S8510 server using either the Maintenance Web Pages or the manual Shutdown button on the faceplate. 1. On the Maintenance Web Pages, select Server > Shutdown Server.

Replacing the S8510 server Replace the server cover To replace the cover on the S8510 server use Figure 6 in reverse order. WARNING: Ensure that the SAMP cable and any other internal cables are clear of the cover WARNING: before replacing it on the server.
