ip unreachables
To enable the generation of Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) unreachable messages, use the
ip unreachables command. To disable this function, use the no form of this command.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines
The ip unreachables command is not supported in Warp mode.
ICMP unreachables are not generated in Warp mode
This command requires the LAN Base Services license.

This example shows how to enable the generation of ICMP unreachable messages on an interface:

switch(config)# interface ethernet 2/1
switch(config-if)# no switchport
switch(config-if)# ip unreachables
switch(config-if)#
