Chapter Unicast Routing Commands

maxas-limit

To configure the external Border Gateway Protocol (eBGP) to discard routes that have a high number of
autonomous system (AS) numbers in the AS-path attribute, use the maxas-limit command. To revert to
the default, use the no form of this command.

This command requires the LAN Enterprise Services license.
Examples
This example shows how to set the maximum number of AS numbers to 50:

switch(config-router)# maxas-limit 50
switch(config-router)#
