will be displayed, prompting the user for a selection of language to be used
with CX-Server.
17. After selecting the language and pressing the OK button, the welcome
window shown below will be displayed. Please take note of the recommen-
dations, and make sure all other windows programs are closed before con-
tinuing.
18. After pressing the Next button, the user is prompted for the directory in
which to install CX-Server. Press the Next button to continue with the de-
fault directory, or the Browse button to select another directory.
19. Next the user is prompted to select the additional driver software for CX-
Server. None of these additional drivers are required to accomplish serial
communication between the PC and the PLC CPU. Whether or not to in-
