Installing the Remote Office 9150 unit

Result: The Set the Configuration for the Remote Unit screen appears.

Note: A completed example is shown on page 133.

Complete the fields on this screen as described in the following table:

Set the Unit ID of the RLC to

Wish to Enable IP Voice

Connection to Remote

Wish to Enable PSTN

Connection to Remote

Enter the RLC's unit ID.

n Accept Yes if the IP network will be

used to route calls. Then, enter the IP

address of the RLC to which this

Remote Office 9150 unit is connected.

n Click No if the IP network will not be

used. The IP Address boxes are

n Accept Yes if the PSTN will be used to

route calls. Then, enter the telephone

number that must be dialed to connect

The telephone number can include the

following digits or characters: 0 through

9, #, *, comma (,), period (.), and

n Caller ID separator: "." (period)

n Caller ID separator and 1/2 second

delay: "," (comma)

n null separator: "-" (dash)

n Click No if the PSTN will not be used.

The PSTN Number box is dimmed.
