Paper size detection
Discharges electricity in the clearance with the transfer drum to charge the paper and to attract
the paper onto the transfer drum.
Lifts the charger roller and the resist roller. Rotates in 120 degree units.
Turns on/off the lift cam clutch. The operation of ON → OFF → ON → OFF is performed in one
print operation. This operation stops the lift cam at every 120 degrees.
Drives the paper feed section such as the paper pickup roller, the paper transport roller, the resist
roller, and the lift cam.
Turns on/off the connection between the paper feed motor and the resist roller.
Controls the timing of attracting the paper onto the transfer drum. This timing determines the
positions of the paper and the images.
Turns on/off the connection between the paper feed motor and the paper pickup roller.
Turns on/off the paper pickup roller clutch.
Picks up the paper and passes it to the transport roller.
Detects the presence of paper in the paper cassette.
Detects the fed paper and paper jams.
Detects the presence of paper in manual paper feed. When paper is fed from the cassette, this
detector detects the paper transport and paper jam.
Detects OHP paper.
Transports the picked-up paper to the resist roller.
Curls the paper by the pressure with the lower resist roller.
When this is lifted up, the pressure with the upper resist roller is increased to curl the paper.
Lifting is made by the lift cam.
The waste toner bottle collect waste toner.
The waste toner sensor detects waste toner full and waste toner installation.
Detects the temperature and the humidity in the machine and controls the image process.
