* Note for assembly
Check that the cut part of transfer drum guide positioning plate
is inserted to the projection part of frame securely.

(11) Transfer drum brake

Remove the transfer drum. (Refer to E-10.)

Remove the transfer drum gear and the drum guide.

Remove the drum brake discs (2 pcs.).
(Note) Be careful not to scratch the transfer drum brake disc
surface. Keep it away from grease or foreign material.
If the transfer drum brake disc is scratched, troubles such
as image shift and color shift may occur.
(12) Transfer unit

Remove the fusing unit,the OPC drum unit, and the developing
unit.

Remove the right side cabinet and the operation section cabinet.
(Refer to A-3/4.)

Remove the harness cover.

Remove the connector which is connected to the PCU PWB from
the transfer unit. (Connector on the PCU PWB)

Remove the oil sensor harness.
