The following Table shows all the PJL commands (19 commands) used for PJL support, their functions and parameter setting ranges.

Must be inserted in the beginning mode and end, when exiting from current printer
language for controlling by PJL.
Gives comment.
Selects printer language for processing job.
Informs printer of the beginning of job.
Informs printer of the job end. Resets page count.
Default setting (to EEPROM).
User Default Environment
(Temporary) setting during PJL job. PJL Current Environment
PJL Currnt Environment
Resets current value to factory default value (INITIALIZE).
Resets current value to default value.
Requests the sending of current value (PJL Current Environment).
Request the sending of information of default value (User Default Environment).
Used to synchronize host and printer. It clarifies time, and which job is printing
Requests the sending of printer's specific information (model No., configuration,
memory amount, etc.)
Sets if unsolicited message (error, etc.) is automatically returned or not.
Deletes the request for unsolicited message.
Changes control panel message. Printer remains online.
Changes control panel message, and sets printer offline.
Shows which key operator pressed to set printer online
Performs the same operation as when the key is pressed on the control panel.
