Step 1.
Read the safety information that begins on "Safety" on page v and "Installation guidelines" on
page 100.
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords.
Step 3.
Remove the server cover (see "Removing the cover" on page 104).
Step 4.
Disconnect the cables that connect to the SATADOM.
Step 5.
Press the release latch and then remove the SATADOM bracket in the direction as shown.

Step 6.
Remove the SATADOM from the holder.

Step 7.
If you are instructed to return the SATADOM, follow all packaging instructions, and use any
packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
For service technician only: replacing the SATADOM
Use this information to replace the SATADOM.
To install the SATADOM, complete the following steps:
