Optional extended wood panel and TV bracket kit Installation CB40E
The compact and extended wood panel and TV kits are used in conjunction
with the compact/extended framing kits. Install the compact or extended
framing kits before installing the panels. (Extended kit shown in instructions)
Note: The TV Kit requires 120 volt power for operation of the television. The
receptacle box and all electrical wires should be installed by a qualifi ed electrician.
Note: The minimum ceiling height must be 8 feet for the extended framing kit
and extended wood panel kit to fi t this particular application. The extended
framing kit when assembled must be set to a predetermined overall height of
93 inches from fi nished fl oor to the top of the framing kit.
1. Install the TV box on to the framing between Parts H1 + H2—attaching to
vertical Part I's with 2 screws each side as shown below.
2. Install the electrical box into the TV box with 2 screws—see below.
3. Remove the knock out from the rear of the electrical box. Bring the BX
cable thru the rear of the electrical box. Snap in the wire clamp from the
BX cable to the rear of the knock out to secure BX cable. Attach the black
wire (Hot), white wire(Neutral) and ground wire to the appropriate post's
on the receptacle.
4. Attach receptacle to electrical box with 2 screws and receptacle cover with
1 screw.

5. Run the BX cable from the back of the electrical box and route through
the framing using the supplied ties (use larger holes in framing to accom-
modate cable ties)

6. Run the BX cable down the back of the unit and to the electrical box located
on the front lower left hand side of the appliance and tie in 120 volt power.
7. Feed the required cords (for TV, PVR, etc.) into the cord management tube,
with cords installed, feed the end of the tube + cords through the top of the
electrical box.
8. Secure the cord management tube to the inside of the framing with the
supplied ties.
NOTE: Use the holes in the framing kit as indicated as they are large enough
to accommodate the ties.
