Solvent-based cleaners will damage paintwork.
Use only solvent-free substances for cleaning.

To clean the area around the hook:
1. Remove any lint and thread remnants using the compressed
air gun.
Clean the following areas thoroughly:
• area under the throat plate (1)
• area around the hook (2)
• bobbin case
• thread cutter
• area around the needle
• remaining thread monitor (3)
