1 Stuck FID valve detected.
2 Defective throttle fully closed.

Used diagnostic code No. 08 (lean angle cut-off switch)

probable cause
1 Defective lean angle cut-off switch
2 Open or short circuit in wiring har-
ness.
3 Connected condition of connector
Inspect the coupler for any pins
that may have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the
coupler.
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom Engine idling speed is too high.
Operation item and countermeasure
Inspect the throttle body.
Replace if defective.
Refer to "THROTTLE BODY".
Inspect the throttle body.
Replace if defective.
Refer to "THROTTLE BODY".
Symptom Open or short circuit detected in the lean angle cut-off switch.
Operation item and countermeasure
Replace if defective.
Refer to "Fault code No. 30".
Repair or replace if there is an open or short circuit.
Between switch coupler and ECU (engine) coupler
black/blue – black/blue
yellow/green – yellow/green
blue – blue
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.

Reinstated by
starting the engine
and operating it at

minutes. Do not
