For the S70675 and S50675, clean the other wiper cleaner and wiper rail in the same
manner.

page 142.
Cleaning Inside the Printer (Daily)
Lint, dust, and ink accumulate on the platen heater, pressure rollers, and media holding
plates. Ink on these surfaces may be transferred to the media. Furthermore, if lint or dust
is accumulated inside the left maintenance cover, it may adhere around the print head.

❏ The heaters and media holding plate may be hot; observe all necessary precautions.
Failure to observe the necessary precautions could result in burns.
❏ Be careful not to trap your hands or fingers when opening or closing the front cover.

Important:
When cleaning inside the printer, do not use ink cleaner. Failure to observe this precaution could
result in damaged parts.
1. Make sure the printer is turned off and the screen has turned off, and then unplug the
power cable from the outlet.
2. Leave the printer for a minute.
3. Open the front cover.
4. Raise the media loading lever.
5. Remove stains on the pressure rollers using a dry, soft cloth.
