REMOVING THE CABINET ASSEMBLY
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2.
Position the console to its service position
(see page 4-2 for the procedure).
3.
With the full console model, disconnect
the main harness from the hidden lid switch
connector.

Use a screwdriver and unsnap the two
cabinet spring clips from the cabinet top.
5.
Use a screwdriver and unsnap the two
cabinet side straps from the back of the
washer.

6.
Remove the cabinet front panel (see page
4-11 for the procedure).
7.
Remove the three bottom 5/16" side panel
hex-head screws (2 on right, 1 on left).

With the metercase model, disconnect
all metercase electrical connections, and
pull them into the console before remov-
ing the cabinet.
