To remove the membrane switch:
a) From the rear of the unit, remove the
screw from either of the end caps.

b) Remove the ADVANTECH
and display boards (see steps 4 and 5).
c) Remove the two ground screws from
the green ground wires (see the photo
below).
NOTE: The membrane switch board will be
loose when you remove the bracket screws in
the next step. Be careful not to drop the board
when you remove the bracket.
d) Remove the two end cap screws from
both ends of the console bracket. Care-
fully lift the bracket from the console,
and remove the loose end cap and the
membrane switch board.

e) Bend the tabs on the membrane switch
and remove them from the slots in the
board. NOTE: Be sure to install the
new membrane switch on the board
with the ribbon cable facing the end
with the two alignment pins that are on
the opposite side of the board. Also
make sure that the ends of the two
alignment pins are in their bracket holes.
