The operating thermostat monitors the exhaust

maintain the desired temperature.
1. Make sure that the dryer is empty and that
the lint screen is clean.
2. Close the dryer door and turn the dryer on.
3. The operating thermostat should cycle off
between 150° and 155°F. If the operating
thermostat is open below this temperature,
replace the thermostat. If the operating
thermostat does not open at the described
temperature, replace the thermostat.
4. Hold a glass bulb thermometer capable of
reading from 32°C to 82°C (90° to 180°F)
in the center of the exhaust outlet. Mea-
