BRAKE ASSEMBLY CLEANING (MANUALLY-ADJUSTED BRAKES)

Turf 2, Carryall 2, 2 Plus, and 6 vehicles
1. Carefully clean the brake backing plate and all mechanical components.
2. Remove rubber boot from backing plate and wipe with a clean, damp cloth.
3. Lubricate slide (1) and slide plate (2) with dry moly lubricant (CC P/N 1012151) on both sides of the back-
ing plate. After lubricating, work slide back and forth to ensure it slides smoothly and easily (Figure 6-19,
Page 6-9). Reinstall rubber boot onto backing plate. See following WARNING.
