FLAT BED TRIM – TURF 6 AND CARRYALL 6

FLAT BED TRIM REMOVAL – TURF 6 AND CARRYALL 6
1. Release access door latches (9) and open access door (1) (Figure 4-3, Page 4-9).
2. Remove bolts (4), flat washers (3), and lock nuts (2) that secure bed to vehicle frame.
3. Raise bed and place prop rod (10) in bed support frame.
4. Remove four bolts (1), flat washers (2), and lock nuts (3) from trim strips (4) on front and rear edge of bed
(Figure 4-4, Page 4-11). Remove trim strips from bed.
5. Remove two bolts (5) and lock nuts (6) from the bracket (7) on driver-side trim strip (8). Remove bracket
from bed.
6. Remove remaining hardware securing driver-side trim strip and remove trim strip from bed.
7. Repeat previous two steps to remove passenger side trim strip (9) and brackets.
FLAT BED TRIM INSTALLATION – TURF 6 AND CARRYALL 6
1. Install trim in the reverse order of removal.
2. Tighten nuts (3 and 6) to 8 ft-lb. (10.8 N·m) (Figure 4-4, Page 4-11).
3. Install bolts, flat washers, and lock nuts that secure bed to vehicle frame. Tighten bolts to 75 in-lb (8 N·m).
