Front wheel

To remove the front wheel
WARNING
To avoid injury, securely support the
vehicle so there is no danger of it
falling over.
1. Disconnect the speedometer ca-
ble from the front wheel by remov-
ing the clip, then pulling the cable
out.

2. Loosen the locknut at the brake
shoe plate and the brake lever free
play adjusting nut.

3. Slide the rubber cover back.
4. Loosen the locknut at the brake le-
ver, and then fully turn the adjust-
ing bolt in direction (a).

To install the front wheel

5. Disconnect the brake cable from
the front brake lever, then from the
brake camshaft lever.

6. Loosen the axle nut.
7. Lift the front wheel off the ground
according to the procedure in the
previous section "Supporting the
motorcycle".
8. Remove the axle nut, pull the
wheel axle out, and then remove
the wheel.
1. Install the brake shoe plate into the
wheel hub as shown.
